Barrages, pump houses under Kaleshwaram named after goddesses

Medigadda barrage has been named after Lakshmi and the Kannepalli pump house will be called Lakshmi pump house.
Annaram barrage and Siripuram pump house were named after Saraswathi, Sundilla barrage and Goliwada pump house as Parvathi, Nandi Medaram reservoir (Nandi) and Laxmipuram pump houses are named after Gayatri.
Soon after coming to power, K Chandrashekar Rao changed the names of many projects including Pranahitha – Chevella which is named after Kaleshwaram temple and Indira Sagar project was named after Sita Rama.
