Ati Rudra Yagam from Dec 15 in Hanamkonda

Hanamkonda: The Chaturvedi Swahakara Purassara Shata Chandi Sahita Ati Rudra Yagam will be organized at the 1000 Pillars temple here from December 15 to 21. The yagam will be held under the aegis of Sringeri Sharada Peetham.

Disclosing the details to the media here on Thursday, Government Chief Whip D Vinay Bhaskar said that at a time when the people are becoming increasingly mechanical, spirituality is the only way out to overcome a sense of loss or isolation.

"Spiritual activity helps people through their tough times. Since the formation of Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had performed many such yagams for the wellbeing of the State," Vinay Bhaskar said. Further, he urged the people to participate in large numbers to participate in the week-long yagam.

Greater Warangal Mayor Gunda Prakash Rao heaped praise on organizers Bhavithasri Chit Funds Managing Director Thatipally Srinivas and others for organizing the yagam. He emphasized the need for inculcating spirituality among the people to lead a peaceful life. The posters of yagam were released on the occasion.
