Addressing District Collector M Prashanthi, officials of RTC and police departments officers, the Minster instructed the district administration to arrange temporary drivers and conductors to run RTC buses in the district. Serious action will be taken on those, who obstruct bus services, he warned. The officials were told to use private buses as much as they can, to pay nominal fee to the RTO

offices to get permission, to list out route-wise schedule, and to provide tight security to all the buses plying on the day.

Minister Ajay directed the officials to pay Rs 4,000 to Palle Velugu buses, Rs 5,000 to Express services and Rs 3,000 to city services per day during the strike period. He also told not to collect extra charge from passengers and to give round-the-clock control room services. The police were directed to impose Section 144 to prevent any untoward incidents in

the district. District Collector Prashanthi wanted the police and TSRTC departments to provide uninterrupted bus services to passengers and tight security to avoid any unwanted incidents.

Later the Collector discussed with the officers about alternative arrangements. 42 hired buses in Nirmal, 27 in Bhainsa and additionally 20 private buses were arranged.

Superintendent of Police C Shashidhar Raju, RTO Ajay Kumar Reddy, Nirmal depot manager K Anjaneyulu and others have attended the video conference.
