ALEAP is creating jobs for women: Jayesh Ranjan
Workforce is masculinising rapidly in India and there is a need of women, who stands strong in the manufacturing industry says Jayesh Ranjan at inauguration of Healthy Socks MSME Cluster Incubation Centre and Biodegradable Bags Manufacturing Unit at Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP), Industrial Estate office in Pragathi Nagar, Kukatpally on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT&C, Telangana government said, "India is one of the few countries where participation of women labour is coming down rapidly.
According to the recent statistics, the percentage of women labour work force has come down to 25% from 36% in the last ten years," he stated.
The official thanked ALEAP team for supporting women in making their dream come true. "I also appreciate and congratulate ALEAP and K Ramadevi, Chairperson, ALEAP for the innovative initiatives which are helping to safeguard society and providing employment opportunities to hundreds of women," he said.
Socks clusters inaugurated on Saturday is developed by ALEAP in partnership with AGX Impex India along with six women entrepreneurs from ATAL Incubation Centre and the project is supported by Atal incubation centre ALEAP We-Hub, Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog.
The services by ALEAP such as mentorship, market connect, seed funding and networking, co-working spaces, facilitations and funding would not have been possible without the support of Central and State governments, said K Rama Devi, Chairperson, ALEAP.
At present, we have 45 startups with focus in the areas of food processing, bio-technology, bio-degradable technologies, IT and ITES, mentioned K Rama Devi.
Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (formerly ALEAP) is NABET gold rank accredited and certified organisation started for empowering women through entrepreneurship in the MSME sector.
Dr Mohammad Haghbin Ghomi, Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran inaugurated the website of Aleizone at ALEI Industrial Estate.
ALEI, with its technology partner TEKOPT has started Aleizone and an e-business marketplace for women entrepreneurs. It is the first time over 10,000 women have penetrated into e-commerce works.
Aleizone is for all those aspiring women from both rural and urban India, who explore and expand their business both onsite and online.
