Administration gears up for TSRTC strike

The district administration has made alternative arrangements in view of strike call given by the workers of TSRTC. District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam reviewed a meeting with SP Narayana, Joint Collector Aruna Kumari, transport officials and depot managers of Vikarabad, Parigi and Tandur.

District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam reviewed a meeting with SP Narayana, Joint Collector Aruna Kumari, transport officials and depot managers of Vikarabad, Parigi and Tandur.
The collector said that almost 100 drivers were identified who are willing to volunteer to drive buses. She directed the police department to provide security to the buses, as there are chances of protest by the agitating workers. She told the depot managers to pay the stipulated amount to the drivers every day. She also said the school buses could also be run as Dasara vacation is going on.
