Additional SP CH Rameshwar said women should be brave enough to complain if they are sexually harassed
District Additional SP CH Rameshwar said that women, young women and girls in Nagar Kurnool district should fearlessly contact the police if they face problems due to hooligans or other harassment.
Nagarkurnool: District Additional SP CH Rameshwar said that women, young women and girls in Nagar Kurnool district should fearlessly contact the police if they face problems due to hooligans or other harassment. He said that She Teams and Anti-Women Trafficking Teams are working for the protection of women in the district. Students told women not to panic when they are wronged.
Additional SP Rameshwar said that they should come forward with courage and complain. He said that strict action will be taken against the accused. School students are told to contact the team if they are ragging and eve teasing by college students. Additional SP Rameshwar said that if anyone commits sexual harassment against women or girls, they will immediately approach the SHE team and justice will be done immediately.
He said that awareness programs are being organized across the district through the She team. Especially women should be careful while using Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, they are advised to take all kinds of precautions regarding personal safety while posting photos and videos.

Additional SP CH Rameshwar explained that out of 12 complaints received in the month of May, two FIR cases, two pitti cases and eight other cases were resolved through counselling.
