Patancheru: The Sangareddy District II Magistrate Prabhakar on Monday sentenced nine persons, caught by the Patancheru Traffic police during a recent drunken drive check, to imprisonment ranging from two to 14 days and fined them Rs 2,000 each.

While four persons were sent to jail for two days, one for four days, two for a week, two others were imprisoned for 14 days, according to a press release issued by the Traffic CI.
