8 injured in clash over land dispute

As many as eight people were injured in clash between two groups in Sangupet village on Monday. Dispute related to land at outskirts of the village lead the two groups to clash each other.

According to the victims, M Satyanarayana Goud, M Lakshminarayana Goud and S Mahender Goud have been cultivating their land, which they claimed to be their ancestral property.
But one Santhosh Goud allegedly pleaded for his right on six acres of land with a court order. The argument intensified and lead to clash. The eight injured were shifted to hospital out of two are in critical condition. Speaking about the incident, SI Venkatesam Raju Goud said they would investigate the issue.
