3 different cases cracked, 4 held in Hyderabad
Cyberabad Commissionerate’s Kukatpally police on Wednesday cracked three different cases, which are chain snatching, cheating case and a theft committed by a servant and nabbed four persons.
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Commissionerate's Kukatpally police on Wednesday cracked three different cases, which are chain snatching, cheating case and a theft committed by a servant and nabbed four persons. A total property recovered in these three different cases are 42 grams gold, Rs 11.1 lakh cash and eight cameras, which all worth of Rs 17.5 lakh.
According to A Venkateshwara Rao, DCP, Madhapur, on Monday a complaint has been lodged by one G Rajya Lakshmi (69), in which she stated that while she returning to her home by walk from the nearby post office, an unknown person came on a bike and snatched her two chains from her neck.
Kukatpally police registered a case and nabbed the accused K Ramana (28), with the help of CCTV footages in the area. In other case, police nabbed two accused persons named P Dendhadhar (19) and L Vinod Kumar (25) and recovered net cash of Rs 10.7 lakh from their possession. The complainant Bharath Jain (38), manager of jewellery shop in Kukatpally had sent one of his employees named P Dendhadhar to deposit Rs 11.5 lakh in the bank.
A two hours later complainant received a phone call as Dendhadhar is lying unconscious at a shopping complex. Immediately complainant rushed to the spot, there Dendhadhar informed that four people attacked him and snatched the money bag by tying him with ropes and beaten severely due to which he fell unconscious.
Police on thorough interrogation, Dendhadhar confessed to have committed the offence with his associate L Vinod Kumar, who previously worked with the complainant. Both the accused had hatched a plan to commit the offence and depict as some unknown four persons have robbed the money.
In another case, police nabbed one Nikhil Sai (22) for deceiving innocent by obtaining their DSLR camera's for rent and later selling them to lead lavish lifestyle. Police also recovered eight costly DSLR cameras all about worth Rs 5 lakh.
