According to the police, the mishap occurred when the lorry heading to Bhupalpally hit another truck. Due to the impact of the collision, a large number of chickens were spilled all over the road. The two persons, who sustained injuries, were shifted to a local hospital. The residents of
Karkapalli and nearby Laxmareddipally collected the chicks before the police had arrived.
Meanwhile, the manager of the poultry, who is transporting chickens, complained that Rs 30,000 kept in the vehicle were also missing.
