At last teachers’ shortage in schools across Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts is going to be resolved to some extent as District Collector M Rammohan Rao is going to issue appointment orders to about 103 new teachers on Saturday (July 13).

Nizamabad: At last teachers' shortage in schools across Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts is going to be resolved to some extent as District Collector M Rammohan Rao is going to issue appointment orders to about 103 new teachers on Saturday (July 13).

The selected candidates belonging to Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts must attend for the counselling to be conducted on Saturday by 9 am. 103 new recruits were selected through Teacher Recruitment Test.

The Collector has already held several meetings with his team of officials to take up the appointment of new teachers as directed by the State government. A team comprising of Joint Collector, ZP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and District Education Officer (DEO) has been formed for transparency in the posting of new teachers.

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) gave green signal for the appointment of 103 school assistant posts and notification was issued in 2017 and the test was held in 2018. The recruitment process was delayed due to serial elections.

Now the government has decided to send appointment orders to the selected candidates for 103 School Assistant posts both Urdu and Telugu medium by Saturday.Collector MRM Rao had instructed the officials to double-check the certificates of all the candidates before issuing the appointment letters to them.

The DEOs of Kamareddy and Nizamabad districts and ZP CEO Govind will have to re-check the certificates as guided by Joint Collector Venkateshwar.Collector MRM Rao directed the officials to display the list of selected candidates along with their photos in the collectorates and DEO offices of both Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts.
