Apple can claim to have the industry’s most capable smartphone cameras with the iPhone 11 Pro.
The California based tech giant Apple Inc. can claim to have the industry's most capable smartphone cameras with the iPhone 11 Pro. When you look at it from the front, the Pro resembles the 2017 iPhone X. But when you turn it around, you'll find the best camera system Apple's ever created. After you use it for a while, you'll experience the best battery life as well.
Design
When you look at the back of iPhone 11 Pro, the three large camera lenses dominate the top left corner, and they're a bit scary at first. iPhone 11 comes in warm colours like green, purple and yellow, the iPhone 11 Pro sticks to conservative hues like midnight green, space grey, gold and silver.
You will love the matte finish on the back; it not only resists fingerprints, but it makes it less slippery compared to the other glass phones.
Few things which I didn't like about the iPhone 11 Pro is that it's bit heavier than the iPhone XS (6.63 ounces versus 6.24 ounces), and it's also bit broader and thicker, maybe because of the addition of the third camera and a larger battery.
Display
The iPhone 11 Pro's 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR display is too bright. When tested in the lab, it got an average reading of 752 nits. That outshines the last year's iPhone XS (611 nits). Even without much sunlight, the iPhone 11 Pro's screen made the Note 10's panel look dull.
The sound through the iPhone 11 Pro is just as fascinating, thanks to supporting for spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.
Camera
The rear camera comprised of three lenses, backed by computational photography smart, the iPhone 11 Pro's new imaging stack is remarkably aspiring, even by Cupertino's imaging standards.
It starts with a trio of 12-megapixel sensors, each tied to a different type of lens to offer a unique view of your backdrops. Apple has widened the aperture from ƒ/2.4 to ƒ/2.0, up in last year's flagship to allow in more light. Temporarily, the new ultra-wide camera delivers a 120-degree field of view, similar to a 0.5x zoom.
But it's not all about hardware. Apple's new Night Mode enables the latest batch of iPhones to struggle with Google and Huawei's benchmark low-light camera performance.
The iPhone 11 Pro's camera is superb in the dark. During daytime as well, the new telephoto lens captures stunning shallow depth-of-field shots.
Performance
As usual, Apple has the world's fastest phone; credit goes to the iPhone 11 Pro's A13 Bionic chip. This processor offers 20% faster CPU, GPU and machine-learning performance, and it shows in benchmark testing and real-world tests.
Which measured overall performance on Geekbench 5, the iPhone 11 Pro scored 1,337 on the single-core portion of the test and 3,509 on the multicore test.
On the GFXBench graphics test, the iPhone 11 Pro ruled. This handset scored 2,174 frames, or 33.8 fps, on the Aztec Ruins (High Tier) off-screen benchmark.
On the 3DMark Slingshot Extreme test, another graphics benchmark, here also the Apple's phone impressed. The iPhone 11 Pro notched 6,163.
The iPhone 11 Pro dominated once again on our real-world performance test. But this time it wasn't much faster than its predecessor. The phone took 46 seconds to export a 4K video to 1080p after applying a colour filter and transition.
Battery
As the phone is smaller in size, we didn't expect the iPhone 11 Pro to live longer than the iPhone 11 or the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but in its given size it performed admirably. The phone lasted for an average of 10 hours and 24 minutes. The test involved continuous web surfing over 4G LTE on-screen brightness of 150 nits.
iPhone 11 Pro is the first phone from Apple to include fast chargers. The iPhone 11 Pro brings an 18-watt charger that got to 55% battery in just 30 minutes.
Storage and Durability
iPhone 11 Pro is powered by A13 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. This device will be available in three storage versions 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. But there is no MicroSD available.
Apple claims iPhone 11 Pro has the "toughest glass ever" in a smartphone. The iPhone 11 Pro's front part got cracked when the handset was dropped on its face from a height of about 3.5 feet. Interestingly, when the phone was dropped from the same height, the back of the phone did not get damaged, but the rear got cracked from a shoulder-height drop.
Price
The cost of iPhone 11 Pro will start from Rs 70, 829 which is $999.
