Google boosts AI Pro storage to 5TB without raising prices, strengthening its AI ecosystem and value for power users.

Google has quietly upgraded its AI Pro subscription by significantly increasing its cloud storage offering—without touching the price. The plan, which previously included 2TB of storage, now provides 5TB, giving users more room for their growing digital needs across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. Despite this expansion, the monthly fee remains unchanged at Rs 1,950, making the update a notable value boost for subscribers.

This move reflects Google’s broader push to strengthen its AI ecosystem, particularly as demand rises for storage-heavy applications powered by artificial intelligence. The AI Pro plan is designed to offer deeper access to Google’s Gemini platform, combining storage with advanced AI tools that support productivity, creativity, and development workflows.

Subscribers to the AI Pro plan benefit from enhanced usage limits for Gemini 3.1 Pro and Deep Research features. The integration of Gemini across Google services—such as Gmail, Docs, and Sheets—enables users to generate content, analyze data, and streamline everyday tasks more efficiently. In addition, Google Search is enhanced with AI Mode capabilities, including features like Deep Search, offering more context-aware and detailed results.

Beyond productivity, the plan caters to creative users and developers. It provides access to AI tools capable of generating images, music, and videos across platforms like Gemini, Search, and Flow. Users can also create comprehensive reports faster, utilize advanced features in NotebookLM, and leverage coding tools such as Gemini Code Assist and CLI with higher usage limits. Monthly Google Cloud credits are also included, adding further value for developers and tech-savvy users.

The subscription extends its appeal with family sharing for up to five members and includes a bundled Google Home Premium Standard plan. These additions position the AI Pro plan as more than just a storage upgrade—it’s a comprehensive AI-powered ecosystem for both personal and professional use.

For users seeking even more storage, Google continues to offer its Premium plan at Rs 3,250 per month, which includes 10TB of cloud space along with similar AI-driven features. At the other end of the spectrum, the more affordable AI Plus plan, priced at Rs 199 per month, offers 200GB of storage and access to core Gemini tools, making it suitable for casual users.

At the top tier, the AI Ultra plan targets advanced users with 30TB of storage and the highest level of access across the Gemini ecosystem. This includes advanced capabilities such as Deep Think reasoning mode and Gemini Agent (available in select regions), along with premium benefits like higher-tier Google Home plans, YouTube Premium (region-dependent), and $100 in monthly Google Cloud credits.

With this latest upgrade, Google is reinforcing its strategy of bundling AI capabilities with practical benefits like storage, making its subscription offerings more compelling in an increasingly competitive AI landscape.
