The Tab S6 flaunts a display of 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA with narrow bezels like the Tab S4 last year. This time there is no home button or a side fingerprint sensor as the Tab S6 gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. The tablet has quad speakers and Dolby Atmos support, but miss on a 3.5mm headphone jack.
A 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset powers the Galaxy Tab S6. It comes along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is still not clear whether Samsung will launch multiple memory and storage versions of the Tab S6 in the country. The tablet is backed up by a 7,040mAh battery, and the company claims it will last around 15 hours of usage.
The S Pen for the Tab S6 comes with Bluetooth LE much like the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 10. It enables one to use the stylus to take selfies or controlling media and presentations like a remote. The Tab S6 also comes with a new and improved Samsung DeX. It has included a devoted DeX key to the Tab S6 Book Cover Keyboard that enables DeX mode with a single tap.
In India Samsung will soon launch the Tab S6 still an exact date is not known. There is no idea about the price as well. The Tab S6 starts at USD 649 in the US, which is around Rs 45,000 in India, so its pricing could be in the same ballpark.
