Vivo V70 FE Launch Today: Big Battery, 200MP Camera Take Center Stage

Vivo V70 FE debuts today with a massive battery, powerful camera setup, and feature-rich display aimed at performance enthusiasts.
Vivo is all set to unveil its latest smartphone, the Vivo V70 FE, today (April 2) at 12 PM IST. Ahead of the official launch, the company has already teased several key features on its website, building anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts. The device is expected to stand out with its large battery, high-resolution camera system, and immersive display.
Viewers interested in catching the unveiling live can tune in to Vivo India’s official YouTube channel, where the event will be livestreamed. This allows audiences across the country to watch the launch in real time as the company details the phone’s capabilities and pricing.
In terms of display, the Vivo V70 FE is expected to feature a large 6.83-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. The screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth scrolling and an enhanced viewing experience. With up to 1,900 nits of brightness in high brightness mode (HBM) and HDR10+ support, the device is positioned to deliver vibrant visuals even under challenging lighting conditions. Audio performance is also a focus, with dual speakers and a dedicated “Gaming HyperSense Audio” feature that is said to offer a 25 per cent wider sound field and 120 per cent enhanced details.
Photography appears to be a major highlight of the smartphone. The Vivo V70 FE will reportedly come equipped with a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The rear camera module will also include an Aura Light for improved low-light photography. On the front, the device is expected to house a 50MP Eye AF Group Selfie camera, catering to users who prioritise high-quality selfies and video calls. Vivo is also introducing an AI Photography Suite, featuring tools such as AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, and AI Four-Season Portrait, along with support for underwater photography.
Battery life is another key area where the device aims to impress. According to Vivo, the smartphone will pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The company claims that the device can charge from 0 per cent to 100 per cent in just 60 minutes, offering extended usage for heavy users.
On the durability front, the Vivo V70 FE is expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance against dust and water. Design-wise, it will be available in Northern Lights Purple and Monsoon Blue colour options. The device will also feature “Darkness Glow” technology, a luminous rear panel that emits a subtle glow in low-light environments after exposure to light.
Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. With this combination of hardware and features, the Vivo V70 FE is shaping up to be a strong contender in the mid-to-premium smartphone segment.
