On September 18 just as sales began for Apple’s generation iPhone 18 Pro series Samsung announced a price increase of Rs 20,000 for all variants of the Galaxy S26 series in India. This move is part of a trend in the smartphone industry in 2026, where brands are raising prices across the board. The latest iPhone models have also been launched with a price rise of Rs 30,000.
Samsung has announced a price increase that affects all storage options, including the top‑of‑the‑line Galaxy S26 Ultra with 1TB of storage. Therefore, if you were thinking about getting the Galaxy S26 or Samsung’s expensive flagship the new prices are now in effect, for both models.
