Microsoft Teams is available for personal use. For Android and iOS users, a preview of the communication-collaboration platform has been rolled out. The new functionality is part of Microsoft's efforts to strength Teams, which like several other enterprise apps, has seen exponential growth in usage in the last three months.

The preview comes with core Teams' functionalities like texting, location sharing, and video calling. To be noted that the latest update is just an added functionality and users need not download Microsoft Teams again.

If you are using Teams mobile application for work purpose, add your personal account in the Settings section. Here, you can either log in with your current personal account or sign up with your contact number. Teams will permit you to switch between personal and work accounts easily.

Microsoft has also brought to notice about the privacy issues with a personal Teams version. The platform features called "Safe" allows users to securely save and share critical data like passwords and login credentials. Sharing for home Wi-Fi password or streaming service logins are backed security protocols like two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption.

"As we roll out the preview over the coming weeks, we look forward to collecting your feedback to help us evolve and improve the experience over time. General availability of the new features, as well as expanding features to the desktop and web versions of Teams, is expected later this year," said Microsoft in a post.
