iPhone 18 Pro Colours Leaked Ahead of Apple Launch
In Short
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro could arrive in three new colour options alongside camera, display, modem and connectivity upgrades.

Apple is gearing up for its biggest launch event of the year on September 9
Apple is gearing up for its biggest launch event of the year on September 9, where it is expected to introduce the new iPhone 18 series along with its first foldable iPhone.
Ahead of the event, a new leak has reportedly revealed the colour options that Apple could offer with the iPhone 18 Pro. According to a report by Fixed Focus Digital, Apple has started full production of the iPhone 18 Pro, with sky blue, pure black and burgundy tipped as the three colours for the lineup.
Black could make a comeback
If the leak is accurate, the iPhone 18 Pro could bring back black to Apple’s Pro smartphone lineup. The iPhone 17 Pro series did not feature a black finish, although the colour was available on other models such as the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17E.
This year, Apple may also skip the traditional silver or grey finish on the Pro models. Instead, buyers could get sky blue and burgundy alongside the reported black option, giving the lineup a different look from previous generations.
iPhone 18 Pro price remains a concern
While the new colours are likely to attract attention, the price could prove to be a bigger talking point for prospective buyers.
Apple has raised prices on some products amid an ongoing memory shortage that is putting pressure on the cost of consumer electronics. For instance, the new Mac Mini with an M6 processor starts at $899, compared with $599 for the M4 model it replaced.
This has fuelled speculation that Apple could also increase the price of its next-generation Pro iPhones. The iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099, but it is still unclear whether the iPhone 18 Pro will retain the same starting price.
Expected iPhone 18 Pro upgrades
The iPhone 18 Pro is rumoured to receive several hardware changes. Its 48MP Fusion main camera could gain a variable aperture, giving users more control over incoming light and potentially improving depth-of-field effects.
Apple may also simplify the Camera Control button by removing touch sensitivity and haptic feedback, with the button reportedly relying only on pressure sensitivity.
The phone is expected to retain a 6.3-inch display but could move to LTPO+ technology, which may help improve battery efficiency. Another expected upgrade is Apple’s C2 modem, which could deliver better cellular performance and efficiency.
The modem may also support 5G via satellite, potentially allowing web access when conventional cellular and Wi-Fi networks are unavailable.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is also expected to feature Apple’s next-generation N2 wireless chip, although details about its improvements remain unknown.
