iPhone 17 at Rs 54,000? Here’s How the Deal Works

Apple’s latest iPhone lineup may have grabbed attention, but buyers looking for a relatively affordable way into the company’s ecosystem still have reason to check out the iPhone 17 series. While previous-generation iPhones usually become cheaper after a new launch, that trend has not played out as expected this year.

Rising memory chip costs have contributed to higher prices, meaning the iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 did not receive the usual price reductions. Instead, prices increased, making the latest models harder to justify for some buyers.

However, a combination of festive-sale discounts, bank offers and exchange benefits can bring the effective price down considerably. In India, Flipkart and Reliance Digital currently have offers that could make the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro significantly cheaper, provided buyers meet the eligibility requirements.

iPhone 17 deal on Flipkart

Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale includes discounts on several electronics, but its iPhone 17 offer stands out. The 256GB iPhone 17 is listed at Rs 86,999, compared with its earlier price of Rs 99,900.

Buyers using an eligible Flipkart Axis Bank or Flipkart SBI credit card can get another Rs 5,000 off. This brings the price down to Rs 81,999 before factoring in the exchange benefit.

Flipkart is also offering exchange benefits of, up to Rs 85,100 plus an extra Rs 3,000 discount. Flipkart’s exchange benefits depend on the model. The condition of the old phone.

For example, an eligible iPhone 14 could fetch an exchange value of Rs 27,850. Adding the Rs 5,000 card discount brings the price of the 256GB iPhone 17 down to an effective price of Rs 54,149.

That means some buyers might be able to get the iPhone 17 for, about Rs 54,000. The final price will still depend on the exchange device and card eligibility for the iPhone 17.

iPhone 17 Pro deal at Reliance Digital

Those looking for the iPhone 17 Pro can check Reliance Digital’s in-store offer. According to the retailer’s website, the 256GB model can have an effective price of Rs 57,000.

The phone is now listed at Rs 1,30,490 which's lower than its earlier price of Rs 1,34,900. To claim this offer you must visit a Reliance Digital store because the offer is not available online.

Month Reliance Digital said on X that the effective price could drop to Rs 56,990 for the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro and Rs 71,990, for the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro Max.

This offer gives you a discount of Rs 9,910 in the store, which brings the price of iPhone 17 Pro down to Rs 1,24,990. You can get up to Rs 55,000 if you trade in a phone plus a Rs 10,000 bonus for the trade and you will also receive Rs 3,000 back, from the bank.

Ultimately, the amount a buyer pays will depend on the exchange value of the old phone and eligibility for the applicable bank and promotional offers.
