FAU-G pre-registration begins for Android users

Highlights

Players can visit the Google Play store to search for the FAU-G game and pre-register for it.

With PUBG Mobile on its way to make a comeback in India after it was banned in September this year, the desi game rival PUBG Mobile FAU-G (Fearless And United-Guards) is getting prepared for its launch in India. The FAU-G game is now available for pre-registration for Android users. Players can visit the Google Play store to search for the game and pre-register for it.

After PUBG Mobile was banned in India, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had announced an alternative game called FAU-G. While we know very little about the new game, it is expected to be a first-person shooter and may be similar to PUBG Mobile. The game is created by nCORE Games, a mobile game publisher based in Bengaluru.

According to the game description, the game centres on an elite fighting group that protects the peaks on the northern border of India.

As per the game description, the game focuses on an elite fighting group protecting the peaks at India's northern border. "Join a special unit of FAU-G commandos on patrol in dangerous border territory. Come face-to-face with India's enemies as you engage with hostile invaders on Indian soil," as per the game description.

Vishal Gondal, CEO of GOQii, investor and advisor to nCORE Games, is also part of this initiative. We expect the game to launch on Android as well as iOS and, like other games, this one will also be free with in-app purchases.
