Now Dish TV customers can opt for up to four TV connections while paying the total amount of the subscription for the main connection and only Rs 50 per secondary connection.

Direct-to-home (DTH) introduced a new multi-TV offer in the new TRAI mandated tariff regime.

Dish TV is currently said to be the most favoured DTH operator in the industry thanks to the various discount offers and prices that its subscribers are enjoying.

Under the new multiple TV offers, Dish TV customers can opt for up to four multiple TV connections in their home while paying a Network Capacity Fee (NCF) of only Rs 50 per secondary connection.

The users would be paying the total amount of the subscription for the main connections. However, for any other connection, users pay a fixed fee of Rs 50 only. In addition, users would also have the option to mirror the main connection channels or select different content.

Previously, Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV and D2H had announced multiple connection plans under the new TRAI tariff regime.

Under these plans, subscribers could take advantage of discounts if they buy more than one DTH connection for their homes, to operate on multiple televisions.

These new plans are the result of a clarification from TRAI that DTH operators can offer discounts on "network charges" for customers who buy more than one connection.
