National Sub-Jr Chess C’ship brochure launched
Hyderabad: The brochure of the 51st National Sub-Junior Under-15 Chess Championship 2026 was launched by Telangana Minister Sri Duddilla Sridhar Babu Garu at his residence here on Tuesday.
The championship will be held from October 12 to 20 at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, for the Sri Duddilla Sripada Rao Gold Cup. Hyderabad is hosting the national championship after a gap of 24 years. Tthe event was last held in October 2002 at the Jubilee Hills International Centre, where Telangana players Gogineni Rohith and N Vinuthna won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively.
Senior Telangana chess official and Organizing Committee Chairman K S Prasad attended the launch function.
