Hyderabad: Indian para-cyclists trained under the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) produced a strong performance at the Challenge Breton International 2026 in France, securing 11 podium finishes across three Road Races and an Individual Time Trial at Landaul, Plouay and Ploërmel.
Seventeen-year-old Vishva Vasani of Gujarat delivered the standout performance in the WC3 category, winning silver medals in all four events. Sixteen-year-old Lisha Das of Assam also reached the podium in every race, claiming four bronze medals in the MC5/WC5 category. Anshuman Dhumal, 16, of Maharashtra won silver in the opening Road Race at Landaul, while Arshad Shaikh (MC2) and Prashant Arkal (MH4) added bronze medals at Ploërmel.
Overall, the Indian contingent won five silver and six bronze medals. The athletes are trained under Chief Coach Aditya Mehta, with AMF’s structured preparation contributing to their progress. Their campaign was supported by Invesco, Flutter Entertainment India, NTT DATA Business Solutions India, Alcon and GMMCO.
