New Delhi: Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI president and former captain of the Indian cricket team, has been discharged from the hospital today. After coming out of the hospital, Ganguly spoke to the media. He thanked the doctors at Woodlands Hospital for the treatment and said that I am absolutely fine and hope to return soon.

He was discharged from the hospital on Thursday after suffering a mild heart attack on Saturday. Doctors said that his condition is stable and he is fit. The 48-year-old former cricketer underwent angioplasty. "I am completely fine," Ganguly said before boarding his personal vehicle to return home.

He said, "I thank all the doctors, nurses and all the people in the hospital who treat me. And hope to return soon. "He was taken to the hospital on Saturday after complaining of chest discomfort during a workout.
