India get to 100 in the 25th over

100 comes up for India in the 25th over. Rishabh Pant brings it up by flicking Keemo Paul to the leg side. He is getting a move on here. Shreyas Iyer, on the other hand, is looking busy. He broke the shackles by slapping a half-tracker from Roston Chase to the off-side boundary. India need these two to get going and put on a big partnership.

Alzarri Joseph has begun wonderfully well for West Indies. After picking up the wicket of Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, he has kept it tight, conceding just 7 runs in 4 overs. Rishabh Pant, the new man, has been struggling on this pitch. He likes pace on the wicket but this Chennai track is offering him very little. Shreyas Iyer key as India look to consolidate now.

Joseph is now into the attack for the 1st time in this match as Pollard reckons that Walsh is not having a great day yet with the ball. Joseph's first over is decent too giving away just 2 runs as India reach 75/2 after 17 

IND vs WI: FOUR A tough introduction for Walsh in this game as he has now given away a boundary ball in both of his overs. This time Rohit connects with a full delivery, converting it into a full toss and deposits it past the square leg fielder
