Rohit Sharma, after smashing 71 off 34 against the West Indies in Mumbai on Wednesday, was captured talking to his daughter Samiara from the dressing room.
The Indian vice-captain hammered five sixes and six fours en route 71 during the third Twenty20 International (T20I) against the West Indies. Rohit and KL Rahul put up 135 runs for the opening wicket before the former fell in the 12th over.
Soon after Rohit's dismissal, he was seen looking up to the stands where his wife Ritika Sajdeh was present with their daughter Samaira. While the fans cheered watching Rohit near the dressing room's windows, the explosive opener was busy chatting with his toddler.
The adorable moment was captured by Rohit's Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians, who later shared the footage on social media.
"Guess who is Rohit talking to in the stands ?? Hint: ????#OneFamily #CricketMeriJaan #INDvWI," MI said in an Instagram post with the video.

The third T20I on Wednesday was the decider of the three-T20I series, which the hosts comfortably won by 67 runs. In the same match, Rohit also became the first Indian, overall third batsman, to hit 400 sixes in international cricket. The other batsman, who have reached the milestone are former Pakistan and West Indies captains Shahid Afridi (476 sixes) and Chris Gayle (534 sixes).
With the end of the T20I series, India and West Indies are gearing up for the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series. The three ODIs are scheduled to be played in Chennai (Dec. 15), Visakhapatnam (Dec. 18) and Cuttack (Dec. 22).
Rohit, who has recorded 27 hundreds and 42 half-centuries in 218 ODIs, is 314 runs away from touching the 9,000-run mark. Only six Indian batsmen have scored 9000 or more runs in the 50-over format and Rohit is not far away from joining the elite club.
