Vijayawada: The three-day Amaravati Children's Film Festival has been useful to the students to develop innovative thinking. Most students felt they were seeing the world in a new perspective. Films including Anjali and Poorna were screened during the film festival.

P Priyanka, an eighth class student, St Thomas RCM High School,Vijayawada said, "I have learnt how to set targets and achieve them during the film festival. I have drawn inspiration from the films screened in the films festival. It would be awersome if the films festival is conducted every year."

K Harika, a ninth class student from St Thomas RCM High School, Vijayawada, said, "Anajili film is motivating the students to work hard. There is a need to screen such type of films in the children film festival."

B Madhuri, an eighth class student from St Anns Thomas RCM High School, Vijayawada felt that the Amaravati Film Festival -2007 is useful to children for personality development and gives encouragement to the students. St Thomas RCM High School, teacher P Yamuna said that this type of programme would be useful to motivate the students to work hard and get good ranks.
