Women police told to be ready to work in any depart

Karimnagar: The women police should be ready to work in various police departments like other police personnel and must prove their skills, advised Commissioner of Police VB Kamalsan Reddy.

He held a meeting with the women police, who recently completed training in 'Krav Maga', at the Police Commissionerate here on Thursday.
Speaking at the meeting, the Commissioner announced 15 per cent of allowances for women police, who successfully completed training in Krav Maga, and said the women police will be deployed in various departments on rotation system.

He told the women cops that they should be ready to work in whichever department they are assigned. All the higher officials of the police department appreciated the Karimnagar police Commissionerate for shaping the women police as the first women commandos in the State by giving training in Krav Maga.

Without losing the spirit, the women police must show their skills and must compete with other police personnel, the CP said. Additional DCP S Srinivas, Reserve Inspectors Mallesham, Johny Miya, RSI Murali and IT Core Team in-charge MS Qureshi were present along with others.
