Hyderabad: Amazon and Google companies on Tuesday responded to Cyberabad Cyber Crime police notices in data theft case and assured the police that they will furnish the information about IT Grids information within two days. Since the prime suspect in the case D Ashok has not responded to the notices of Cyberabad police, Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar issued notices to the Amazon and Google companies to provide complete information about the IT Grids Company on Monday.
Earlier, the police during the search operations for three days seized a lot of electronic gadgets, hard discs, other incriminating material, mobile phones and written documents from the IT Grids Company and their four employees’ houses in various places of city. During the investigation, they found that the database is said to have been stored with the Amazon Web Services.
After grilling the four employees, the police got key information based on which clarity from Company Director D Ashok became crucial for them to establish data theft and the links of the company with the other companies in Andhra Pradesh and with the political parties in AP. The seized material was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory to decode the information in it and meanwhile they issued notices to both the companies to furnish the data about IT Grids.
Prime suspect Ashok has not responded to 24-hour deadline to surrender before the Cyberabad Cyber Crime police. The deadline ended on Tuesday afternoon. Hence Commissioner V C Sajjanar has decided to issue the arrest warrant through the court. Meanwhile, four special teams of Telangana police are searching for Ashok in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, the police suspecting that Ashok may be taking shelter with the help from AP police. He is suspected to be in Nellore or Vijayawada. Cyberabad police carried out search operations on Tuesday in IT Grids office in Madhapur. It quizzed the employees and seized key documents.
