Jharasangam: On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Zaheerabad MP BB Patil and local legislator K Manik Rao took part in the bramhostavams at Sri Ketaki Sangameshwara Swamy Temple on Monday. The priests of the temple welcomed them with ‘purnakumbham’. Both the leaders performed special pooja to the presiding deity in the sanctum sanctorum. Temple chairman Narasimha Goud along with EO Srinivas Murty felicitated the public representatives with shawl and garland. Later, MP BB Patil along with MLA K Manik Rao held a meeting with temple’s trust board. He advised them to make arrangements without inconvenience to the devotees. Patil also advised them to erect tents and provide drinking water to give relief to the people from summer. He asked them to maintain cleanliness in the temple premises. TRS leader Govardhan Reddy, TRS mandal president Vijayender Reddy and sarpanch Boggula Jagadishwar were present.
