HRDCL gives 18-cr facelift to IT corridor

Serilingampally: Thanks to the new initiatives of Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDC), taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 18 crore, the IT corridors in Gachibowli and Nanakramguda areas have been transformed of late.

All the main roads in the IT corridor have been widened and new footpaths have been laid on either side of the road with colorful tiles. The bus shelters at Gachibowli junction, Indira Nagar, IIIT junction, Balayogi Stadium, HCU, Sudarshan Nagar colony and Lingampally have been beautified and made pleasant for commuters.
Along with widening of roads and construction of footpaths, storm drains have been constructed wherever necessary, to prevent flooding and water logging on roads. The construction of storm drains have already been completed at Gachibowli-Lingamapally and Nanakramguda-Nallagundla highways.
