MIM call to Muslims to support TRS party

Musheerabad: Majlis party national president called upon the people of Musheerabad to respect the party decision to support TRS and vote for Muta Gopal, Musheerabad TRS candidate. He was speaking at an election campaign meeting at Bholakpur on Sunday.

Addressing minorities at the meeting, he alleged that BJP and Congress colluded with one another to defeat TRS and Congress fielded a weak candidate from the constituency. He exuded confidence that Majlis would win eight seats in the city. Stating that the Congress party lacks people’s support, he said that AICC president Rahul Gandhi failed to get good response during his visits to Charminar and Asif Nagar recently. He asked people to recall how the previous Congress government arrested his brother and sent to jail. He alleged that Congress party was trying to pump money and tried to stop his tour to Nirmal by trying to bribe him.

He also took potshots at BJP national president Amit Shah and said that he already toured Hyderabad four times and made verbal attacks on Majlis but with no avail. Expressing his satisfaction over TRS rule, he said that Telangana state has been peaceful in the last four and half years and no attacks were made against minorities on the name of cow. Bholakpur corporator Aqeel Ahmed, and other Muslim leaders participated in the meeting.
