​Nalgonda: Former Minister and Congress MLA candidate from Nalgonda Komatireddy Venkatreddy stated that the TRS government completely ignored the aspirations of the people and promises made during 2014 electionss.
On Friday, campaigned at G Chennaram, Darveshpuram of Kangal mandal and Ward No 34 and 35 in Nalgonda town. Addressing the gatherings, he said people of the State suffered a lot due to inefficient rule of KCR in the past four years. People of the State were vexed with family rule of KCR and getting ready to teach fitting lesson to TRS in the upcoming elections.
KCR with the aim of retaining power by employing illegal method of spending crores of rupees got as kickbacks from contractors in irrigation projects and mission Bagiratha. He expressed his concern over not constructing assured 2 BHK houses to poor and not providing MSP to farm produce during the TRS rule. Rich Telangana was pushed in debts in the short span of four years by the decisions of KCR. TRS leaders with false promises and money bags doing election campaign to cheat the voters once again, he added.
Stating that the TRS deceived Muslims in the name of 12 per cent reservation, he informed that Congress provided 4 percentage reservation to Muslims through which many Muslim students and youth were benefitted.
He urged Muslims and Christians to support the Congress for better future of respective communities. TRS government with political rivalry intentionally not completed Brahmana Vellemla project with estimated cost of Rs 700 crore designed to provide irrigation facility to one lakh acre land and drinking water to fluoride-hit areas of this region.
He listed out the various development activities carried out in the constituency by him during his four years MLA term and explained Congress manifesto and his future plans for the welfare of people and overall development of constituency in next five years.
Meanwhile, Komatireddy ‘s wife Sabitha on behalf of her husband carried out door-to-door election campaign at 9 and 21 wards in Nalgonda town and emphasized on need to support the Congress in the Assembly elections in the interest of Nalgonda and State. In this campaign,Nalgonda municipal vice Chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy , Kanagal ZPTC Narsingh Srinivas Goud, Anoop Reddy, Imtiaz , Mumtaz , Ibrahim, Jahangir , Mallaiah Yadav, party local leaders and large number of people participated.
