Musheerabad: Caretaker minister Naini Narsimha Reddy urged people to be cautious of Telangana betrayers who are coming before them to seek votes. He was speaking during his election campaign in support of TRS candidate Muta Gopal, along with Ramnagar corporator and GHMC standing committee member V Srinivas Reddy and MIM leaders, at Bholakpur on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that KCR would soon take active role in national politics. BJP and Telugu Desam Party leaders are deliberately targeting their leader as they are afraid of his joining national politics, he said. He said that Congress and BJP would be washed away in the TRS wave. Terming Chandrababu Naidu a ‘Telangana betrayer,’ he questioned his role in the state politics. He lambasted Prof Kodandaram for joining hands with those who betrayed Telangana state in the past. He alleged that local BJP leaders misled Prime Minister Modi and he suggested to the PM to speak based on the reliable information.

Dr Lakshman, state BJP president, is sure to lose from Musheerabad and BJP may lose all the seats in the upcoming elections, Naini predicted. Questioning the role of Congress during Telangana agitation, he asked what the youth Congress leaders like Anil Kumar Yadav were doing when Telangana people were fighting for the formation of the state. TRS MLA candidate Muta Gopal alleged that Dr K Lakshman had failed to develop the constituency. Whatever development was there in the constituency was taken by the TRS corporators with the support of the minister Narsimha Reddy, he said. He exuded confidence that he would win the seat with a majority of around one lakh votes. Party constituency observer Putta Purushotham, TRS leaders M Moses, S Shyam Kumar, Murali, Indrasena Reddy, Veera Swamy, Mallesham, Prabhakar and others participated in the campaign.
