Briefing the media in Kothagudem on Wednesday, Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt revealed that the police on receiving inputs on Maoists’ intentions have collected details and photos of Maoist action teams.

Sunil Dutt informed that during interrogation Sujatha revealed that important Maoists leaders have recently met under the leadership of Haribhushan. They formed action teams and planned to launch attacks on political leaders coming for the election campaign.
They also planned to attack police parties who are on election duty to create panic and tension in the area. Top Maoist Damodar was made in-charge of the action teams. In the beginning of November, these teams were sent to different areas of the State, she told the police.
