Musheerabad: The Union Minister, JP Nadda inaugurated the BJP election campaign office here on Monday. Addressing the gathering, he said, although the Central government has granted funds for several welfare programmes, the TRS government was not only claiming them as their own policies but also left the funds unutilized. India under the leadership of PM Modi has been traversing on the path of development and that was the reason the caretaker CM KCR called for early elections, fearing defeat if simultaneous elections were held, he said. Dr Lakshman, BJP state president and Musheerabad BJP candidate, called upon people to vote for the saffron party to protect the state from corruption. He appealed people to vote for BJP and teach a lesson to KCR, Chandrababu Naidu and Congress, who have been misleading the public.
Lakshman accused Telangana government of forgetting those martyrs who laid their lives for the formation of State. Ridiculing TRS party of not fulfilling its poll promises such as making a dalit CM, giving three acres to dalits and free education from KG to PG, he said that it was time for people to teach TRS party a lesson through their votes. Explaining about his achievements in the last four years, Dr Lakshman said that he constructed houses for 3,000 homeless families and taken measures to regularize MIG and LIG quarters.
Similarly, because of his efforts, 180 sq yard SRT and TRT houses were also regularized with a nominal fee, he said. On this occasion, Dubbaka and Thoguta ZPTCs Velpula Gouthami Maheshand and Rupa Paripurna from KCR’s constituency joined BJP in the presence of the union minister. Dr Lakshman, welcoming the leaders, said that this clearly indicates the kind of opposition KCR was facing in the State.
