Mancherial: Three-time MLA and TRS candidate from Mancherial Assembly constituency Nadipelli Diwakar Rao is confident of winning Mancherial seat, who says that he has improved health and education and road connectivity in the constituency. He exuded confidence that development and welfare schemes will help him to register a victory.
In an interview with The Hans India, N Diwakar Rao shared his plus points to win the coming Assembly elections and his plans to better if elected again.
Q. It appears that you have already hit the poll campaign? How is the response?
A: I have already completed one round of campaigning in all villages and urban areas. The response is encouraging. People are happy with the welfare schemes introduced by the TRS government and development witnessed in the past four and a half years.
Q: What are your achievements in four and half years tenure?
A: I sanctioned a bridge across Godavari River at an estimation cost of Rs 125 crores from the outskirts of Mancherial town to Anthergoan village in Peddapalli district, improving connectivity to several villages. Flyover between high tech city colony and Hamaliwada woth Rs 77.64 crores, widening of Mancherial and Mandamarri road with Rs 35 crores budget and modernisation of Mancherial Area Hospital with an estimation cost of Rs 34.15 crores.
Q: What are your prospects of winning elections this time?
A: People are satisfied with the development works and welfare schemes undertaken. They are ready to extend electoral support to me and to help the TRS to win 100 out of the total 119 seats in Telangana. The party will certainly form the government and will rewrite history in Mancherial constituency clinching it for the second time.
Q: Where do you focus if elected again?
A: I will bring industrial development to provide employment to jobless youth as Mancherial is full of natural resources. I will ask Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to grant Government Medical College to provide health services.
Q: Why people should vote for you in coming elections?
A: I am confident that voters will re-elect me since the development can be seen by one and all.
They can see the growth in the last four years. I have been always accessible to people of the constituency and ready to extend support to the public and solve problems any time.
Q: What is the progress of 2BHK scheme?
A: About 140 units of double bedroom houses were sanctioned for the constituency, which are in final stages of construction at Rajeev Nagar on the outskirts of Mancherial town.
