Secunderabad: BJP Mahila Morcha held a meeting at Namalagundu BJP office on Monday. The meeting was held to discuss election strategies to be employed for BJP victory in the forthcoming elections and time table for various activities to be taken up. Speaking on the occasion, state leader of Mahila Morcha Aruna Jyothi urged women activists of the morcha to intensify their campaign and ensure victory of BJP candidate for the Secunderabad constituency. She exhorted members to explain to women about various women welfare schemes initiated by PM Narendra Modi. Criticising that Telangana state is in the grip of family rule, she urged activists to employ proper strategies to release the state from the shackles of family rule.

A resolution was passed, calling upon women members to work at booth level and explain various welfare schemes of BJP and faults of the state government to the voters. Door-to-door campaigns will be conducted explaining the achievements of former BJP MLAs.

Time table for various programmes to be taken up by Mahila Morcha was also released: From October 24 to 30, meetings will be held with the leaders of the morcha; from October 31 to November 4, meetings will be held with voluntary organizations; on November 5, women will be explained about use of social media; from November 10 to 20, vanitha sammelans will be held; November 15 to 25, networking with women associations and women leaders of other parties; and from November 25 to 30, explaining voters about welfare schemes initiated by the central government. Among those participated in this meeting were Mahila Morcha city vice president Anitha, state executive member Sharada and assembly convener Kalavathi.
