Hyderabad: A delegation fo TRS leaders on Saturday lodged a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar alleging that officials of Intelligence Department of Andhra Pradesh police camping in Hyderabad to influence the Assembly elections in Telangana in the name of conducting surveys.

TRS leaders and MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, G Ramachandra Rao and D Vithal met the CEO and submitted a representation seeking action against the AP Police. They alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was behind this conspiracy.

Speaking to media persons later, the TRS leaders alleged that Naidu has deputed six police officials in each Assembly constituency to distribute money and lure the voters.

Meanwhile, the CEO, while addressing a press conference later informed that a clarification has been sought from the AP DGP on TRS complaint. However, he said Hyderabad was the common capital for 10 years and AP police was authorised to move anywhere. He said he would take necessary action after consulting the DGPs of both AP and TS.
