Khammam: Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao is on a mission to secure all ten Assembly seats in erstwhile Khammam district for TRS and is leaving no stone unturned by giving support and moral boost to the party men.
Appointing three State leaders Takkelapalli Ravinder, Thata Madhu and Nukala Naresh Reddy as in-charges, the Minister directed them to cover all the ten constituencies and work with the aim of winning all the seats.
In a recent meeting held with leaders and booth committee members in Khammam, Tummal had said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao decided to go to polls now instead of next April to protect interests of the State and to play a bigger role in national politics by uniting all regional parties.
He reminded the party men that all those who contested in 2014 elections from various political parties are now in the TRS and their share of votes would be in the TRS’ kitty. Victory is sure, but ensuring a huge majority is important.
Nageswara Rao urged the people to support TRS party which introduced numerous welfare schemes and took up developmental activities along with several irrigation projects like never before for the betterment of all.
He urged voters to cast their votes in favour of TRS candidates to see K Chandrashekar Rao as a Chief Minister for the second time for all round development of Telangana and to place the State in top position in terms of progress and also for completion of all the pending projects and government schemes.
MP Ponguelti Srinivas Reddy, conducting road shows in erstwhile Khammam district briefed the people that TRS government was functioning very well under the leadership of Chandrashekar Rao and Telangana people should keep faith in Rao and must choose him again.
He said that Mahakutami is Maha Kutra and they are trying to create hurdles in the way of developmental works and urged the party men to spread awareness on welfare schemes and development witnessed in the district and in the State under the TRS regime.
Meanwhile, former MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar leading from the front carried out his poll campaign in the Khammam city said that the construction and beautification of Lakaram tank bund, establishment of IT-hub for providing employment opportunities for youth, modernisation of Gollapadu Channel, construction of new bus stand, beautification of the city with construction of ring roads and widening of roads along with construction of Dhamsalapuram Railway bridge etc., are some of the major developmental activities that took place under his supervision. He appealed to the people to cast their vote by seeing the enormous development that took place in just four and half years in the Khammam city.
