KCR deprived Telangana people of Ayushman Bharat benefits
BJP Telangana incharge and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda criticised the TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of depriving about 12 crore people of the State of benefits of Ayushman Bharat, a central scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana in-charge and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda criticised the TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of depriving about 1.2 crore people of the State of benefits of Ayushman Bharat, a central scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the party workers from the Nampally Assembly constituency, Nadda said that on one hand the State government hails the Ayushman Bharat, on the other hand, KCR does not allow its implementation fearing rise in Modi’s popularity. “How long the KCR and TRS can stop Modi and the Ayushman Bharat? he asked.
He directed the party men to take up door-to-door campaign and explain to people how the KCR government had denied and deprived them of benefits of various developmental schemes, for which the Centre had provided funds to the tune of Rs 1.3 lakh crore in the last four-and-a-half years.
“The State government is neither able to come up with projects or schemes nor able to spend funds given to it by the Centre. Besides, it has failed to deliver on its promises like double bedroom houses, establishing four super-specialty hospitals in four corners of the city, developing Osmania and Gandhi hospitals with world-class standards, 40 tmc ft storage reservoirs to permanently solve the drinking water needs of Hyderabad and the like,” he said.
Nadda further alleged that the people of Telangana were burdened with crores of rupees following KCR calling for an early election. “The early elections are neither for the benefit of the people nor for the State or the country. But, only for the benefit of his and his family members,” he alleged.
Asking the party workers to explain to people how the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and TRS have become big time friends and taking care of each other, he said thousands of people of the State had been slaughtered by the Razakars, the private militia organised by Qasim Razvi, for fighting to free the erstwhile Nizam State for merging it with the Indian Union. “TRS has joined hands with the disruptive forces like AIMIM, which has its roots associated with the Razakars,” he said.
Other than seats, neither of them is interested in the welfare of people nor in the development of the State. BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao, State president K Laxman, BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya and other senior State leaders took part in the programme.
