Nalgonda: As many as 300 TRS workers joined in Congress during the Congress leader and former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy campaign in Cherlapally on Friday.

The TRS workers of Abbasia Colony in Nalgonda town felicitated Komatireddy with Gaja Mala ( big size garland) during their joining in the Congress party.

So also, as many as 300 party workers from Suraram village of Tipparthi mandal including Tipparthi mandal vice MPP Pendem Aruna joined the Congress in a programme held at his residence Nalgonda on Sunday.

Addressing the people on the occasion, Komatireddy Reddy said that Congress will waive Rs 2 Lakh crop loan to farmers and stipend to unemployed youth soon after party come to power in the State.

On Sunday, he carried out an election campaign at Cherlapally in Nalgonda constituency. Addressing the people, he said the TRS government did nothing for the welfare of people and progress of the State during its four years term. He alleged that the KCR family members became rich in the last four years but the status of BPL families remained the same.

He called upon the people of constituency defeat the TRS and support Congress in the upcoming elections to bring farmer and poor friendly government.

In this programme, Congress party constituency leaders Gummula Mohan Reddy, Sampath Reddy, Mangamma , Karnamma, Nagaiah , Tarpana, Rizwanali, Sameer, Intiyaaz ali, Nizamuddin, Raziudin Basheer Khan, Shariff, Anwar and Sunkaraboina Venkanna and others were present on the occasion.
