Andhole: Farmers of Chintakunta village of Andhole mandal staged protest against the State government for not issuing them pattadar passbooks for their lands. Dalit farmers of Chintakunta village were given 167 acres of government land bearing survey number 638 by the erstwhile Congress government 40 years ago.

They also received passbooks and patta certificates by the then government. However, in the recently conducted cleansing of land records by Telangana government, new pass books were not issued to the land holders, the farmers said. They appealed the State government to issue pass books at the earliest. They warned the government that they would stage rasta roko protests across the state if their passbooks are not issued.
