Wanaparthy: With caretaker Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao scheduled to visit Wanaparthy district on Friday for an election meeting for the first time after formation of Telangana, the TRS cadre and leaders from erstwhile Mahbubnagar district are on fast track making all preparations and putting everything in place to make the election meet a grand success.

TRS candidate Singi Reddy Niranjan Reddy from Wanaparthy district is leaving no stone unturned to gather as many people as he can for the meeting.

Already an area of 70 acres of land has been cleared of bushes and weeds at Nagavaram village on the outskirts of Wanaparthy district headquarters for the grand meeting. “As per the directions of Chief Minister KCR we have prepared a vast area of 70 acres of land ready to accommodate 3 lakh people for the upcoming meeting on October 5th.

Except from Shandnagar, we are trying to mobilise 30-40,000 people from 13 constituencies of erstwhile Mahbubnagar district for this meeting,” informed Niranjan Reddy.

In fact, this is the first time that the Chief Minister is coming to Wanaparthy district after its formation. Earlier, KCR had visited Wanaparthy in the year 2007, and the situation during that time was totally different.

However, after the new state has been carved out and with Wanaparthy becoming the new district, KCR’s visit to the district really means a lot to the people of Wanaparthy . Ofcourse, TRS cadre in the district are also jubilant as they feel CM’s visit during this election campaign will give an added boost to the candidates contesting in the upcoming elections.

With everything in place for the meeting on Friday, the TRS leaders are trying their best to gather maximum public for the CM’s meet and trying to mobilise public from Kollapur, Nagarkurnool, Devarkadra, Gadwal and Mahabubngar constituencies in huge numbers.
