Youngsters urged to enroll their names in voter’s list

Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Umar Jaleel said youth, who completed 18 years of age, should enroll their names in the electoral list. The enrolment of names will be ogranised in the district from September 10 to 25, he said in a statement here on Wednesday. He said a special day will be dedicated for the women to enroll their names. Eligible voters will be identified among one lakh and 40 thousand women in the district, he said.

A special day is also dedicated for the disabled on 22. The organisations and association, who have been working for the welfare of the disabled, should take initiative to enroll them. Likewise, September 24 is for the youth and all the youth organisations encourage the young people to enter their names in the voters’ list. He appealed that people should visit their polling station and ensures that their name is in the list until 25 of this month. Otherwise, enroll the name on the same day, the collector said.
