Apart from it, the engineers are planning to carry out repairs of another structure to provide facilities for 500 patients. Repair works will begin soon, and they are expected to be completed in one-and-half to two months, DME said. He made it abundantly clear that there is dearth of funds.
Meanwhile, members of Junior Doctors Association held a rally and protest on OGH premises on Saturday demanding that the government expedite the construction of new building project. It may be mentioned here that in the last one month there were incidents of roof crumbling causing minor injuries to junior doctors, nursing staff as well as patients.
