Warangal Rural: District administration is leaving no stone unturned to make the elections inclusive especially focusing on enrolling the first-time voters. At a review meeting with the officials here on Friday, District Collector M Haritha told them to launch a comprehensive campaign to enrol left out eligible voters.

“The main objective is to create awareness among the people about the need and importance of voting so that to spread their voice through electoral process,” Haritha said.

She directed the officials to put up posters and distribute pamphlets to create awareness and engage people in the electoral process and make voter participation truly inclusive. She also told them to put up hoardings informing and educating the people to cast their vote without fail.

“Not even a single eligible voter should be left out,” Haritha said, referring to the significance of making relevant information available and accessible to all the people. It’s imperative need to clarify the doubts of people on the electoral process, she added.

Officials were also told to make Form 6, application proforma for inclusion of name in electoral roll for first time voters and shifting from one constituency to another one, in all colleges, besides organising phone-in programmes and spreading the message through social networking sites such as facebook, twitter etc. DFO K Purushotham, DPRO Pallavai, RDOs Mahenderji, Ravi, election staff Pavan, Jagadish, EDM Raju were among others present.
