Kaloji’s 105th birth anniversary celebrated
The 105th birth anniversary of noted Telangana poet Kaloji Narayan Rao, fondly called as Kaloji, was celebrated here at Division ward office on Sunday Extolling greatness of the poet, the state social welfare board chairperson Ragam Sujatha said that Kaloji has motivated people of Telangana with this inspirational writings
Serlingapalli: The 105th birth anniversary of noted Telangana poet Kaloji Narayan Rao, fondly called as Kaloji, was celebrated here at Division ward office on Sunday. Extolling greatness of the poet, the state social welfare board chairperson Ragam Sujatha said that Kaloji has motivated people of Telangana with this inspirational writings.
The poet has played a key role in motivating people during Telangana movement from 1969 to 1972 through his writings and poems, she said. We all should follow his footsteps and strive towards fulfillment of his ideals, she said. The celebrations were held by the local corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav amidst local leaders, party workers and others. They offered their prayers and garlanded the poet’s portrait.
