Khammam: MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy here on Monday assured to provide job security to village and mandal coordinators working under Sakshar Bharat Mission.
He was attending as the chief guest at the district level meeting of Sakshar Bharat coordinators held under the leadership of Chilumula Ramesh here at a private function hall in Khammam.
Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Reddy said he would take initiation for enhancing wages of the village and mandal level coordinators working under Sakshar Bharat Mission and assured them that he would discuss the issue in Parliament.
The MP also assured the coordinators that he would take the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and try to solve their problems.
Distributing health cards to the coordinators, the MP said medical services would be provided at 50 percent subsidy to all coordinators working in the united Khammam district in the super speciality KIMS Hospital.
Convenor of the ‘Sakshar Bharat Coordinator’s Association’ Mekala Mallibabu Yadav said the association would strive hard for the welfare of coordinators apart from solving various issues they were facing.
Before the meeting was held, the coordinators of Sakshar Bharat Mission had given a grand welcome to the MP with bonalu and playing Bathukamma.
District president of TNGO’s Association A Srinivas Rao, MPDO’s Association district president Nawab Pasha, Panchayat Secretaries’ Association president Sridhar Reddy, M Ramaiah, R Karunakar, Nagaraju, Mallikarjuna Yadav, State president of Sakshar Bharat Coordinators’ Association, M Suresh, Chandan Goud, Ch Ramesh, Nehru, Srishailam, Devaraju and K Anji Reddy were present along with others.
