This year was no different as a bunch of gadgets that just made you shake your head in disbelief or laugh in wonderment were unveiled. A belt with a USB port, a suitcase that can move on its own and a TV that can be rolled up like a yoga mat among others was on display. LG TV which rolls like a Yoga Mat
LG South Korean tech giant launched a ‘rollable’ OLED TV at CES. The TV comes fitted in a rectangular base that looks and works like a sounder. This 65-inch TV will be officially launched this year and according to the company, the rollable mechanism can work for close to 20-30 years. Price is not yet disclosed.
A Smart Belt with USB Port
This belt is a lot more than a ‘regular’ belt. It tracks your waistline, fitness activities and even comes with a fall detection feature. Not only that it also has a USB port, an app of its own where you can track various features and activities it performs.
The 10-Second Toothbrush
Fastest, a French company displayed its Y-Brush whose USP is that it cleans teeth in just 10 seconds. This motorised toothbrush has three different vibration options and one can choose it according to their preference. It costs $125 or close to Rs 8,800.

GE Appliances unveiled a microwave oven called Kitchen Hub. You can browse social media, videos and even stream content on this oven.

Sony displayed a speaker which flaunts four beer mug holders. It does perform all the other functions of a speaker and is adept at holding beer mugs as well.
A Suitcase That Moves on Its own
Ovis has come up with a suitcase that moves on its own with the help of self-driving technology. Not just that, it has a GPS tracker, charging ports and also has an option of switching back to manual mode.
Kohler’s “Smart” Toilet

It’s a sensor that makes the diaper smart. Monit displayed a smart sensor that can be clipped on the diaper which sends an alert every time a baby answers nature’s call.
Touch Screen-Enabled Smart Mirror
Capstone’s smart mirror is available in two sizes — 19-inch and 22-inch — and one can download apps, interact via Google Assistant. It can recognise 6 different voices and one can directly write emails or messages on the mirror.

Good news for ladies. Volo Beauty, a startup showcased a wireless hair dryer that works with infrared radiant heat technology. It can be used for 14 minutes without being plugged in.
